Photo update

Posted by TJ on February 22, 2007

Today has been a good day of rest while it has been raining. The previous 24 hrs, not so much. Starting with a hill sprint training ride going into a cross country ride, then 3min intervals, and finaly DH runs. I managed to hurt my shoulder last saturday at the bootleg race, that is starting to heal and should be better by this weekend, just in time for the final race of the trip in Fontana. Here is the past week in a photo format.

Enjoy

Fish tacos on the coast … pretty much the best!

Posted by TJ on February 13, 2007

just got back from Sharkee’s here in newport / costa mesa. and let me say that the “tuesday taco night” fish taco’s were amazing. fish on the coast in general is, of course, way better than in land locked colorado.

anyways, down to the knitty gritty. some pics

at the lookout pt on the san juan trl with Abby, Ariel, Steve

Today : Steve at the beach, Huntington beach to be precise

This one is for Fisher specifically, but for all you In’n'Out fans, we’re here

Hidden Valley trails, this is Pierre – he is french and we found him with no place to stay, so he was my roomate for a couple of days, he is on the adidas freeride team, and a fine dirtjumper, and commas are good

these are “sheep hills” today, before steve and i jumped them

this is also steve today ridding on the beach, notice it is empty because these warm weather people beleive it is too cold, take that Colorado

another one of the adidas team guys, good jumper (obviously)

out of order, but this is a pic of some of the other adidas team guys, mostly european, but all from different countrys, so it was quite the group of accents

moving on , back actually, to this past sunday racing at fontana in the rain

and after this very angry lady made us some very awesome sandwiches at the local delhi

steve is weak – jess is hulking

look at that mug, Juan Reynaldo

hidden valley : big jump, i have not hit said jump, steve has hit jump, steve goes far

Snow Slalom Invatational

Posted by TJ on January 21, 2007

This past week the snow has really gotten to me. So much so, that I’ve resorted to ridding at the local sledding hill. It seems as though the local children have grown weary of sledding for the past several weeks in a row. The hill is covered with packed snow 8 inches deep everywhere. Ski slope conditions by all means. Well today was the culmination of the boulder rider angst toward the snow. We gathered a large group of people to kick winter in the pants and show this snow who’s boss. Using small flags, turns were marked down the hill and the sliding was to begin.
